Born and raised in Southeast Alaska, I’ve seen every wedding trend pass through here and understand what works, what’s been overdone, and where there’s room to do something entirely different. I’ve spent years exploring this region and planning weddings within it, which means I bring fresh location ideas, thoughtful design direction, and realistic logistics that only come from local experience. After years working weddings both as a planner and photographer, I know how days actually unfold and how to anticipate challenges before they become stress points. I approach every wedding with care, intention, and a steady presence, because this day only happens once and deserves to be planned with confidence and attention to every detail.

From renting a classic Thunderbird and choosing Papago Park to timing the shoot for daytime, sunset, and flash images, every detail was designed to feel intentional and elevated. The result was a laid-back experience with timeless, expensive-looking images that documented a meaningful chapter before they returned home to Alaska.

STEP 1: CONSULT

I want to hear everything about your dream wedding, the things you are excited about, and the parts that feel overwhelming!! We can talk over Zoom, get coffee, or keep it low key through messages, whatever feels most comfortable to you. This step is all about getting to know your vision so I can help you shape it into something real that you will love. I will walk you through how the process works, answer your questions, and help you figure out what kind of support actually fits your needs. After we chat, I will send over plans and documents so you feel confident and clear about the next steps.

STEP 2: DESIGN

Once I understand what you are dreaming up, I start turning those ideas into a real design that feels like you. If you already have a strong vision, we will build from that, and if you have no idea where to start, I have a fun questionnaire and a few tricks to help uncover your style. I can create mood boards for you to review, or we can skip straight into organizing everything inside your custom client portal where all inspiration, notes, and to dos will live. This space is yours to explore anytime, no appointments needed, and you can change your mind as often as you want. The goal here is to gather ideas, get organized, and feel ready to move into vendor selection with confidence.

DESIGN & Aesthetic

STEP 3: SOURCE VENDORS

This is where we find the exact people and places that can bring your day to life. Even though I have a vendor directory, every wedding is different, and this step is about digging deeper than the obvious choices. We will look at the best local vendors, unique locations people overlook, and creative solutions when something you want does not exist in your town. If we need to pull in vendors from another community or figure out travel logistics, I will handle that too. We can work through this over Zoom or messages, whatever fits your schedule best.

STEP 4: BOOKING & PREP

This is the step where I take the weight off your shoulders and handle the actual booking process. I will gather quotes, manage communication, and make sure every vendor and rental is officially secured so you are not juggling endless emails and decisions. You stay in control of budget and choices, but you get one clear point of contact instead of a dozen moving pieces. This part may seem like nothing because booking vendors is easy, but this step actually takes the longest because it is where we double check details, confirm timelines, handle all communication, and make sure everything is truly ready for your day. From here on out, I am in your corner keeping things organized and moving forward.

STEP 5: SET-UP

When it is time to bring everything together, we make it as simple as possible for you. If you are renting decor through us, we can transport items to your community by ferry or boat so nothing feels stressful or last minute. You can also hire my team to handle the full setup the day before your wedding, taking care of all the little details that usually fall on family and friends. I want you walking into your wedding weekend feeling excited instead of exhausted!!

STEP 6: COORDINATION

On your wedding day, my entire focus is protecting your peace and keeping everything on track. I manage the timeline, coordinate vendors and communication between them, answer questions, solve problems, and make sure your wedding party and family always know where to be without you lifting a finger. If something goes wrong, you will never feel it because I handle the problem before it reaches you. From last minute adjustments to ceremony cues and reception flow, I am there behind the scenes making sure the day feels easy and joyful. My goal is simple: you get to be present while I take care of the rest.
