SUPER 8 FILM
This package includes three rolls of film and a professionally edited 2–4 minute highlight video set to music. I film intentionally throughout your day, focusing on moments that feel natural and alive rather than staged. After your wedding, all rolls are sent to a specialty lab in Colorado for professional developing and scanning. Once the film returns, I edit the footage into a cohesive, cinematic keepsake. The full process has a 4–6 week turnaround to allow time for lab processing and careful editing. Extra film add-on available for $150/roll.

CONTENT CREATION
Content creation coverage allows you and your bridal party to be fully present without carrying phones around all day. A dedicated content creator documents the flow of your wedding, capturing meaningful moments, details, and interactions so you can relive everything the next day. You’ll receive a full library of clips you can keep, share, or use for social media and personal memories. For an additional cost, the content creator can also plan and coordinate TikToks using trending sounds and transitions, or bring your own ideas to life, delivering fully edited videos that are ready to post straight to your accounts.

DRONE COVERAGE
Drone footage adds a cinematic perspective to your wedding day with aerial video clips and still images captured from above. This coverage is handled by a dedicated, licensed drone operator and is used intentionally to showcase your venue, landscape, and overall setting in a way that ground-level coverage cannot. Drone footage is always weather, location, and regulation dependent and is designed to complement the story of your day rather than overpower it.

I’m genuinely obsessed with this work and the art of it, and I never forget that this is a once-in-a-lifetime day that deserves care, intention, and attention to detail. I know how to work with changing light, shifting timelines, and real emotion, so you can stay present, feel confident, and enjoy a day that unfolds beautifully.

Super 8 does not capture usable audio. Instead of live sound, your final film is set to carefully chosen music that enhances the emotion and storytelling. This allows the focus to stay on the visuals and the feeling of the day rather than speeches or audio clips. If you'd like audio recorded, I can record all of the moments with a separate camera and line up the voices or add sound bytes into the video for anadditional cost
Does Super 8 record sound?
Each Super 8 film cartridge holds 50 feet of film, which captures about three minutes of footage each. Because film is limited, every moment is shot very intentionally and slowly. However, since this is a very old type of camera, it does not always focus on exactly what you want, so this doesn't guarantee that all 3 minutes are useable.
How much footage does Super 8 capture?
Super 8 is shot on real motion picture analog film, not a digital camera and not a filter added in editing. The footage is captured using vintage Super 8 film cameras and loaded with physical film cartridges. After your wedding or event, the film is professionally developed and carefully scanned frame by frame, allowing you to receive a high-quality digital video of the original film. What makes Super 8 so special is that the look cannot be recreated digitally. The warm tones, gentle grain, slight light leaks, and organic movement are all natural characteristics of real film. Because it’s shot on actual motion picture film, Super 8 creates a nostalgic, cinematic feel that’s timeless and emotional, making it especially meaningful for weddings, elopements, and family moments.
Is Super 8 real film or digital?
Content creation and videography serve different purposes and are designed for different goals. Videography is cinematic and storytelling-focused, while content creation is about documenting the full experience of the day in real time and delivering it almost immediately. Content creation allows you to be fully present, gives you a large library of usable clips the very next day, and provides flexibility to relive, share, or create content in whatever way you want long after the wedding is over.
Can content creation replace a videographer?
Super 8 film is sent to the lab the day after your wedding to be professionally developed and scanned. The lab, a small, specialized film lab in Colorado, typically takes about four weeks to scan and process from the day they receive the film, with shipping taking around five days to get there. Once the footage is returned to me as one big digital scan, I carefully cut the video into individual clips for you, organize those clips, and take about 1 week to piece together your final wedding video.
HOW LONG DOES SUPER 8 TAKE TO GET BACK?
Drones do make some noise, it's not terrible but for that reason they are never flown during quiet or intimate moments like ceremonies or vows unless specifically requested (like for walking down the aisle shots). Drone footage is captured intentionally during appropriate windows in the timeline so it enhances the experience rather than interrupts it. The goal is always to capture the landscape and setting without taking away from the moments that matter most.
