I bring a steady, experienced presence to wedding days and a deep understanding of how to guide moments without forcing them from my 6 years in the wedding industry and over 10 as a photographer. I’m genuinely obsessed with this work and the art of it, and I never forget that this is a once-in-a-lifetime day that deserves care, intention, and attention to detail. I know how to work with changing light, shifting timelines, and real emotion, so you can stay present, feel confident, and enjoy a day that unfolds beautifully.
I’m a Southeast Alaska wedding photographer specializing in bold, editorial, flash-driven coverage for couples who want elevated, intentional imagery.
Most Alaska photographers start with the same foundation:
beautiful scenery, natural light, soft posing, and a focus on the landscape first. The approach works because Alaska is stunning and love is easy to photograph in a pretty place. It’s comfortable, familiar, and it photographs well.
I photograph weddings with bold lighting, intentional styling, and confident direction so your photos feel polished, expressive, and alive. Shooting with flash means your day isn’t limited by weather or light, letting you choose locations for love, not convenience. The result is an elevated, iconic gallery that stands apart from the usual soft, scenic wedding photos.
But comfort can quietly turn into sameness. When the backdrop leads the story, the couple can fade into it. You end up with photos that are lovely but safe, more about where you stood than who you are. It includes up to 6 hours of coverage, a high-resolution edited gallery delivered online, unlimited downloads with print release, and a sneak peek gallery within 72 hours. Optional timeline guidance and trusted vendor referrals are available if you want a little extra support without full planning involvement.

The full-day package offers 6-10 hours of comprehensive coverage from the start of your day through the heart of the celebration. I serve couples throughout Southeast Alaska including Petersburg, Wrangell, Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, and surrounding island communities. I also travel for destination elopements and intimate weddings for couples who feel drawn to wild coastlines, moody landscapes, and meaningful experiences beyond the traditional wedding day.
What areas do you serve as a Southeast Alaska wedding photographer and planner?
My photography style is flashy, dramatic, edgy, and editorial inspired with documentary style and cinematic influences as well. I edit in a way that is warm leaning but still true to tone, so every color will look the same as it did in real life. Although my editing is natural, I specialize in flash photography and my style comes in with my use of flash and creative posing. One compliment that I get the most is that I make people feel relaxed and comfortable so they don't feel like they are being photographed. This allows me to take a fly-on-the-wall approach at receptions and get the documentary-style candids and catch every single moment!! I plan weddings in a very artistic, fun, bold, unique way where I will never ever plan two weddings to be the same because I understand wanting to stand out on an island of a couple thousand people.
What is your photography AND EVENT PLANNING style?
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter weddings and I am fully myself. I may swear (not around family of course lol), I believe in breaking every single rule, putting my couples first, and making sure you are choosing yourselves over anyone else for YOUR day. Every couple I work with receives personalized guidance, intentional design direction, and a photography experience centered around connection and meaning rather than trends. Your wedding should feel like you!!! I also am a born and raised Alaskan so I know how hard it is to make your day stand out in a town with two main venues, but I have over 5 years of professional experience (and even more lived experience) finding creative solutions to make your days stand out!
What makes your approach different from traditional wedding vendors?
Absolutely!! Again, I believe in breaking every single rule. If you’re drawn to unique locations, meaningful moments, smaller guest lists, and weddings that prioritize experience over tradition, you’re exactly who I work best with. My couples value intention, beauty, and creating memories that feel personal and timeless. All couples, families, cultures, and loves are welcome!!
Are you a good fit for couples who want something non-traditional?
Absolutely!! I offer wedding planning, creative direction, and curated rental pieces for my clients alongside photography. My goal is to create cohesive, stress-free, and visually beautiful wedding experiences where everything feels aligned with your vision, your location, and your story while still being unlike everyone else!
Do you help with wedding planning and design?
Yes!! I have a lot of experience in Alaska elopements, micro weddings, and intimate destination experiences. From coastal harbors to forest cabins, beach ceremonies, and adventure-inspired elopements, I live to help couples create a wedding day that feels intentional, personal, and beautifully unrushed.
